Flying to Greece with your pet: Aegean Airlines guide

Cabin policy, weight limits, prices.

In cabin

Aegean accepts dogs and cats up to **8 kg** (including the carrier) in cabin. Carrier must fit under the seat in front of you (max 40×30×24 cm).

In cargo

Larger animals travel in the climate-controlled hold in an IATA-approved crate. Not allowed on connecting flights outside the Aegean group.

Documents

- EU pet passport - Valid rabies vaccine - Health certificate issued within 10 days of the flight

Tips

- Declare your pet at least 48h in advance. - Avoid full flights — Aegean only accepts 2 pets per cabin. - Do not feed your pet 4 hours before the flight.
